February Principal's Message
Dear Families,
We are in the month of friendship and caring! At Peter Burnett we care about your student and giving them a high quality education. In order to do that, we want to partner with you in making sure your student is sent to school with a healthy snack. Please do not send unhealthy items such as Takis, hot Cheetos and candy. If you do send chips, please make sure it is in an individual snack size bag. Students may not share food. Please refer to our district's wellness policy for questions.
We are a uniform school. Please make sure your child comes to school wearing solid, navy blue or khaki bottoms, and solid white, navy or baby blue tops. Students not in uniform will have to call home to have a uniform brought to school or be given one to change into if sizes are available. We are happy to help if you are experiencing hard ship. Please reach out to the office if you need uniforms or shoes.
It is cold around here in February! Please send your child to school with a jacket. Please no blankets or open toed shoes.
There are no home toys or Pokemon cards allowed at school. They get lost or damaged and we don't wish our students to be sad. Please check with your child and ensure they aren't slipping these items into their backpacks.
Thank you so much for your support in ensuring Peter Burnett is a safe place to learn. If you ever have any questions, we are happy to help. Just call the office and leave a message if you weren't able to get through the first time. We will always call back if you request it.
Regards,
Mrs. Santos
